A community of just over 75,000 people, a center of high-tech industry, and the mid-point of the beautiful San Francisco Peninsula, Redwood City is known for its great climate and profound sense of community.
One thousand FREE Caroma ultra low-flow toilets were given away on October 23rd and 30th 2004 to Redwood City water customers in exchange for their old high water-use toilets. Customers were responsible for installing their new toilets and returning their old toilets to the City for recycling. |

It is the City's intent to, at a minimum, attain a "Certified" project status as defined in the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED™) Rating System by the US Green Building Council. When complete, this project will likely be the first LEED™ Certified Project in the City of Santa Clarita and will be a demonstration of the City's commitment to greener development and responsible public policy.
