The Caroma Sydney Smart™ Round Front Plus is the latest addition to the Caroma line of dual flush, high efficiency toilets (HETs) featuring two flush volumes: 0.8 and 1.28 gallons per flush (gpf). With an average flush volume of .89 gpf, the new Sydney Smart™ offers the lowest water consumption of any toilet in the market today. The Sydney Smart™ can reduce water use by as much as 2,975 gallons per household per year over an HET. Savings compared to standard single flush low flow toilets, mandated by the US government since 1994, are as much as 5,242 gallons per year.

 

The Sydney with Smart Technology uses washdown flushing instead of syphonic action. Caroma engineers enhanced the water dynamics from the flush valve to the bowl and widened the trapway to nearly double the industry average, resulting in the Sydney Smart™ being virtually clog-free.
